Hiatus

I’m going on a hiatus for a while.

I just got back from the ER where I had to go early this morning because of the migraine. They managed to knock it down back a lot – not completely to get rid of it, that never happpens at anytime – and I’m currently feeling better. But it kinda feels like it might flare up again in hours/days because the sunny, hot weather will continue at least for the weekend and so there’s just too many triggers. So in an effort to avoid it going bad enough for another ER visit to become necessary, I’m going on hiatus.

No updates will be posted until I’m feeling I’m out of the immediate danger of it flaring badly. Sorry all the Zahn fans, there’s so much delish Zahn stuff on the horizon! I’m so annoyed by the migraines and the summer getting in my way. I’ll be back as soon as I can!

Slow Server

I’m sorry for the slowness of several of my sites recently. It’s due to the server being busy because of so many busy sites. My host will be adding two new servers, and will move many sites from the current server to the new ones to ease server load. This should make all sites faster again. They’ll be working on this the next several days, including the weekend.

I don’t know yet whether my sites will be moved or not. I’ll let you know once I know. Some sites, such the Xena and The Vampire Diaries sites, the gallery is so slow when I try to add pics  that it’s next to impossible to do it until it’s working better. So no updates at least on those particularly slow galleries until the server load eases.

New Server

The site has been migrated to the new server (as I posted on Tumblr), after which there was a permissions error on the gallery. I’ve now fixed it, and everything should be working ok! Please let me know if you run into any problems!

HTTPS Activated

I’ve activated HTTPS. You should now be automatically directed to https instead of https.

Downtime

Sorry for the downtime! My host’s data center made a mistake while installing a new server and re-installed the current one instead, wiping out all sites on it, and then there was a script or user error when my host tried to restore from backups which lead to loss of most recent backups and all backups of certain sites like this one.

Luckily I keep my own backups and we didn’t loose anything, I just had to restore my personal backups once I found out my host couldn’t do it. Everything should now be up and working again!
